Context

Mitigating traumatic and fearful experiences of children injured in accidents through the implementation of augmented reality in ambulances.

Problem

A paramedic's primary function as health-care provider as well as their personal safety is compromised when critical time and attention are spent offering reassurance and emotional support during the ambulance journey.

Solution

Using mixed reality and AI to create an interactive experience that can reduce fear, distract from pain, and ease anxiety for children traveling in ambulances.
